Assessing a period in the app

Assessing a period in the app

When a book is set up to have periods assessed, the period for assessment will be presented to the employee responsible for it.

In the app, you can find these review actions by navigating to 'Overview' at the bottom right corner using the icon with dots and lines. Under 'Cash and Card', you can choose the option 'To Review'.

After selecting this option, you will be directed to a page that displays all your books to be reviewed along with their corresponding mutation balances. These are not the current balances of the book but rather a sum of the income and expenses in the respective period.

Next, tap on the book for which you want to provide a review. You will now see all the information for this period. In addition to the mutation balance, the starting and ending balances of the period are also displayed. If you use combination books, you can use the 'Balance Details' button to see how the balance is distributed between cash and card mutations. The 'History' button allows you to see who closed the period and/or who reviewed the period before.

Following this is a list of all the transactions in this period. By tapping on a transaction, you can view the coding of the transaction and open any attached documents.

If everything is found to be correct, you can choose 'Approve' at the bottom of the page. After this, the period can be sent to your financial system by an employee. If there are issues, you can use the 'Reject' button. You will then be required to provide an explanation. The period will be reopened for the cashiers, and based on this explanation, they can make changes to the period again.
