Autosuggest makes booking proposals based on historical data using artificial intelligence. The software learns from the way you code invoices and accept or reject suggestions. The functionality continually improves.
When the confidence level for a suggestion falls below the threshold set for your environment, the suggestion will not be filled in during coding.
Autosuggest Results
In the results overview, you can see whether the Autosuggest feature is fully enabled, disabled, or partially enabled.
Based on the number of correct suggestions for all administrations, Spend Cloud provides advice on whether to fully enable automatic suggestions. The threshold for enabling automatic suggestions is set at 40%. This percentage is calculated based on the time saved with a correct suggestion versus the time lost with an incorrect suggestion.
If Spend Cloud provides advice that deviates from your settings, you can immediately adjust the settings.
Following the Advice
Enable Autosuggest Completely
If Spend Cloud recommends enabling Autosuggest completely, you can change the settings with the blue button. In the dropdown menu, you will see all administrations and the corresponding percentage of correct suggestions that Autosuggest provides. By clicking 'Select All,' you can enable all administrations and click 'Apply' at the bottom.
Autosuggest will then be configured for all administrations to automatically fill in the invoice fields.
Enable Autosuggest Partially
If the percentage of correct suggestions for all administrations does not exceed 40%, Spend Cloud will recommend not enabling Autosuggest completely. By clicking the blue button, you can see the percentages per administration in the dropdown menu. You can choose to check the administrations where the percentage exceeds 40%. Administrations with percentages below 40% are best left unchecked, as coding staff might need to adjust the given suggestions too frequently.
The Autosuggest function continues to train in the background even if the function is (partially) disabled. Over time, more correct suggestions may be given, and the percentages may increase.
Administrations
Under the general Autosuggest results, you will find the results per administration. These rules are initially collapsed but can be expanded with the arrow at the end of the rule.
In the graph, you can see the invoice line fields that can be filled with automatic suggestions. On the left side of the graph, you will find the percentages of correct suggestions. This allows you to see in the graph the percentage of correct suggestions given by Autosuggest for each field.
If the percentage is higher than 40% for most fields, it is recommended to automatically fill in the fields with Autosuggest. The likelihood of invoice fields being automatically filled correctly is very high, saving manual handling for the coding staff. You can disable individual fields where the percentage is not high enough.
If the percentage is lower than 40% for many fields, you can enable 'suggestions only.' The fields will not be automatically filled, but the suggestions will be shown in a dropdown menu under the field. The coding staff can quickly fill in the field but make their own choice from the given suggestions.
Fields that are not checked will not be automatically filled and will not receive suggestions in a dropdown menu. If the percentages for all fields are very low, you can also deactivate the entire function.
