The Spend Cloud app sends push notifications to your device for various reasons. One important push notification you may receive is to confirm online payments. In this article, we'll explain how to set this up in the Spend Cloud app, in your device's specific settings, and how to test if it's correctly configured.
It's important to know beforehand that notifications need to be set up in two places: in the Spend Cloud app and in your device's settings.
Check the notification settings in the app
First off you check in the Spend Cloud app if the specific notifications you want to receive are enabled.
1. Open the Spend Cloud app.
2. Tap the button with three dots and lines at the bottom right.
3. Scroll down and tap on Settings.
Open the settings of the Spend Cloud app on your device
4. Under General, tap on Notifications.
In the settings, under General, tap on Notifications
5. You'll see an overview of all notifications categorized by module. Slide the toggle to the right for all notifications you wish to receive. Once done, tap on "Back" at the top left, or exit the app.
Slide the toggles for the notifications you want to receive to the right. Depending on your rights in Spend Cloud, you may see more or fewer settings here.
You won't see a toggle for confirming Online Payments in the notification settings because these notifications are always enabled; you can't toggle them on or off. Below, you'll find what to check if you're not receiving notifications to confirm online payments in the app.
