There are several widgets on the dashboard. You can drag these widgets across the screen by clicking on the title bar, holding down the mouse, dragging the widget to where you want it, and releasing the mouse.
Messages
This widget shows announcements posted by your organisation’s administrators and, where applicable, messages about replacing an employee or giving your opinion about documents such as invoices. For longer messages, you will see a “Read more” button, which you can click to see the entire message. You can also delete messages by clicking on the X at the top right, which will appear when you hover the cursor over the message.
Administrators can also see system notifications generated by ProActive, sharing the latest developments surrounding Spend Cloud.
Actions
This is where your outstanding actions are shown. By clicking on the gear, you can sort the actions by date (ascending or descending).
Click on an action to navigate to the overview where the action can be found, or click the title of the action to go straight to the action in question.
Quick links
Depending on which modules are available for your organisation, you will see links to the most frequently used actions within these modules. Click on the link to perform the action right away.
Unlinked items
This widget is only visible to administrators. It shows administrators a list of items that were added in the past week and that still need to be linked.
In order to make optimal use of Spend Cloud, several links have to be made between items. Newly added employees, vendors, and ledgers, for instance, have to be linked to a corresponding item, such as a role, vendor group, and cost centre. If items remain unlinked, employees may not be able to log in and vendors and/or ledgers may not be used optimally.
Clicking on an unlinked item in the widget forwards you straight to the overview screen where the items can be linked. You can then filter the list of items available to be linked.
This widget is only visible to administrators. It shows administrators a list of outstanding actions per module. This lets administrators see what employees are doing in Spend Cloud and which areas need more attention. Clicking on an item in this widget forwards you straight to the overview screen for the action in question.
