Using a Web Service and Unable to Export a Book to the Financial Package Exact Online? If you are having trouble exporting a book to the financial package Exact Online using a web service, there could be various causes.
The cause might be translated into an error message that you can see in the export report. This error message is returned by the financial package and indicates why the book could not be exported. Unfortunately, this error message often does not clearly indicate what needs to be done to successfully export the book.

Exact Online Web Service
- Error Message: 2024-01-01 - GLTransaction: GLTransactionVATLine Invalid combination: Period - Date
Possible Cause: The date of at least one of the transaction lines differs from the period in which the book is being exported.
Possible Solution: In Exact Online, you need to change the following setting within the period settings of the administration: "Period-date control". This should be set to 'optional' or 'no'.
- Error Message: GLTransaction: FinancialTransaction Blocked: Ledger Account: 4400 - Ledger Account Description
Possible Cause: The ledger account is blocked or inactive.
Possible Solution: Activate or unblock the relevant ledger account in Exact.
- Error Message: 012412345 - We have not received a response or cannot determine from the response that the export has been processed correctly. Check the export file in the financial package and export it again if necessary.
Possible Cause: The access token on which the connection between Spend Cloud and Exact Online is based is no longer valid.
