Links

Links

In the 'Links’ menu item, you can link cards and cash books to banking books. By doing so, cash withdrawals made with a card will immediately be registered in the linked cash book.
If your organisation uses a combined cash book, you do not have to set up any links, as they will be created automatically.

By clicking ‘Add’ at the top of the overview, you can add a new link between banking books, cash books, and cards.

First, you will have to link a banking book to an account number. By entering an account number here, Spend Cloud will recognise the account number when importing transactions and post all transactions to the right banking book.

To link a Cash book as well, click ‘Save and link’. If you select ‘Save’, you can link a cash book later by clicking the link icon at the end of the line.

If you link a card and cash book as well, cash withdrawals made with this card will also be registered in the cash book, so that you do not have to make the entry manually.

If you use filters, you can also specify a cost centre for a card. This will be the cost centre for this card number. You can only use this option if you told the system to use the cost centre for the card number when configuring your filter.
