Log in and set password with Connect

AlertAlert
Please note: Connect is currently being rolled out in phases and is currently only available to a pilot group. As soon as Visma Connect becomes applicable to your Spend Cloud environment, you will receive an email with further information.

Logging in with your existing account

If you already have a Visma Connect account and know your password, follow these steps to log in:

Go to the login page:
https://environmentname.spend.cloud

NotesInfo
If you do not know the name of your Spend Cloud environment, you can also go to: spend.cloud and click on “I don’t know the name of my environment”. Then enter your email address and click submit.
If your email address exists in a Spend Cloud environment, you will receive the name of your environment. If you do not receive an email, or if you see a message that the request failed, please contact your application administrator. They can verify whether your account has been created with the correct email address.

You will automatically be redirected to the Visma Connect login screen.

Enter your email address and click Next.

Then enter your password.

Click Log in.

InfoInfo
If your organization uses two-factor authentication (2FA), you will be asked to enter a code after entering your password. This code is generated using an authenticator app on your phone (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).

Set a new password or forgot password

If you have forgotten your password, or are logging in for the first time and need to create one, you can easily do this yourself via the login screen.

1. Go to the login page and you will be redirected to Visma Connect.

2. Enter your email address and click Next.

3. On the next screen, click the link Forgot password?

4. Check that your email address is correct and click Send email (or Send recovery email).

5. Go to your inbox. You will receive an email from Visma Connect within a few minutes with the subject “Password reset” or “Reset password”. Open the email and click Reset password.

6. A new window will open. Enter your new password and confirm it by entering it again. (Please follow the security requirements: usually at least 8 characters, including a capital letter, a number, and a special character).

7. Click Save.

You can now immediately log in with your email address and your newly created password.

Setting up two-factor authentication

1. Log in to Spend Cloud

Enter your email address and password to log in.
If you receive a message that your current password is no longer secure enough, create a new password first and click Save.

2. Connect an authenticator app

To set up extra security, you need an authenticator app on your phone (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).

Download and open the app on your phone.

Choose the option to add a new account.

Point your phone camera at the QR code on your screen (or enter the code manually if scanning does not work).

3. Enter the code in Spend Cloud

The app will now show a 6-digit code. Enter this code in Spend Cloud.

If it does not work or you receive an error message:
Make sure you enter the numbers exactly as shown in the app, without spaces. You can always go back and scan the QR code again.

4. Set up SMS as backup (optional)

If preferred, you can also enter your phone number. You will then receive the login code via SMS instead of the app.

5. Store your recovery code safely

At the end, you will receive a one-time recovery code. Store it safely, for example in a secure folder on your computer or write it down. If your phone is lost or broken, you will need this code to regain access to Spend Cloud.
