When you log in to the app for the first time, you need to provide certain information so that we can display your account in the app and enable you to use it. This article explains how you can log in to the app for the first time.

If, after thoroughly reading this article, you're still unable to log in to the app, please contact the application administrator within your organization.
Environment Name
To start, you need the name of your environment, the environment name. This is the part of the URL in the link: [environment name].spend.cloud when you log in to Spend Cloud on your computer. In most cases, this is the name, or a portion of the name, of your organization. Make sure to use the correct spelling. If you genuinely don't know the environment name (even after asking colleagues), you can click on 'I don't know the name of my environment'. By clicking this, you can enter your email, and we'll send you a list of all environments associated with your email.
Adding an Account
Once you know your environment name, you can start logging into the app for the first time from the welcome screen. Follow these steps:
- Tap the 'Get Started' button at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your organization's environment name.
- Choose 'Next'.
We are now checking if your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) for logging in. If so, a pop-up will appear on the screen. In that case, continue reading this article under the section titled "Logging in with SSO." If your organization does not use SSO, you can log in with your email address and password. Then, follow steps 4 and 5.
4. Enter your email address and choose 'Next'.
5. Enter your password and choose 'Login'.

If you've forgotten your password, you can indicate this by selecting 'I forgot my password'. A verification code will then be sent to your email address. You can use this code to log into the app. After logging in, you can choose to set a password again if desired.
6. Scroll down in this article to the section titled 'Access Code'.
Logging in with SSO (Single Sign-On)
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you can log in as you would typically do on a computer. In this case, you don't need to use a username and password. We cannot provide screenshots of this login process because it depends on your organization's provider and how it is configured. Generally, it is straightforward. After entering your Spend Cloud environment name, a pop-up will appear in the app. Select the email address you are registered with in Spend Cloud, and you'll log in without any issues.

If your organization uses SSO and you are unable to log in, please contact your organization's application manager or ICT department for assistance.

Logging in with SSO directly via your SSO provider is currently being rolled out to all of our customers. If you instead, of a log-in screen, see a pop-up to open your camera, you need to connect your app by logging in the Spend Cloud first on a computer. Click in the top right corner of the Spend Cloud on your name and go to 'My profile' in this menu. At the bottom of the page there is a QR code you need to scan. After you've done this, your app is connected to your Spend Cloud account. This method will be phased out.
Setting an Access Code
After logging in, you'll see a screen where you need to set an access code. After entering a numeric combination, you'll need to confirm it by entering it again.
Creating an Access Code:
With this access code, you can log into the app in the future. You won't need to go through the above steps every time you open the app. You do this once, and from then on, you can log in using the access code you've provided.
If you make
iDEAL payments, this access code will also be used to verify these payments.

You can always change the access code after logging in. You can do this in the app under the 'Settings' menu item.
You are now logged into the app and can perform your pending actions through the dashboard.
