Move a book to another organizational unit

A book in Spend Cloud is always linked to an organizational unit. Under this organizational unit, there are roles that can grant employees access to the book. In this article, we'll explain how you can move an existing book to a different organizational unit.

Edit the book settings

Go to Application Management / Cash & Cards / Books and edit the book by clicking on the pencil icon. Under the heading 'Organizational unit', you will see which organizational unit the book is linked to:


You can move the book to another desired organizational unit. Employees linked to the book with a role will be automatically unlinked. When using a Cash & Card function profile, existing roles on the new organizational unit are automatically linked to the book. Of course, it's a good idea to check the role overview after changing the organizational unit.
