New layout for Spend Cloud notification emails

The automatically generated emails have received a makeover. While the old email notifications had a simple and functional style, the new emails feature a modern and recognizable design that aligns with Spend Cloud's branding. Additionally, users can now click directly from the email to the relevant section in Spend Cloud.

The new notification emails will be rolled out in phases. You will be notified when this change takes effect for your Spend Cloud.

  3. Customizability: the basic content is no longer customizable, but there is still space for a personalized message in the yellow box.
Benefits of the New Layout

The redesigned format of automatically generated emails in Spend Cloud has been introduced to improve the user experience. The clear and user-friendly design, which aligns with Spend Cloud's recognizable branding, helps users quickly understand what is expected of them and reduces the risk of phishing and fraud. Additionally, direct links in the emails facilitate more efficient navigation within Spend Cloud. These changes make communication not only clearer and safer but also faster and easier for all Spend Cloud users.

Adding a Note from Your Organization

All notification emails share the same clear content, making it neither necessary nor possible to personalize them. If your organization previously used a customized version of these automatic emails, this is a significant change. Your organization now has the option to add a supplementary, tailor-made note in a yellow box.

As an organization, you have the option to add a custom note in a yellow block within the notification.

A note that your organization can add to a notification would look like this in practice:



If you have the appropriate permissions, you can add a note to a notification by navigating to Application Management / General / Emails. Edit the email to which you want to add the note and then write it in the designated field. You have a limited number of characters available to keep the note readable. This is something we cannot change. So, carefully consider the message you want to convey.

Note: Make sure your text is grammatically correct, understandable, and easy to read.

Before clicking on a link in one of our emails, hover your mouse over it (without clicking). You should see a URL in the lower-left corner of your browser that begins with https://[environment].spend.cloud/proactive. This indicates that the link leads to our official Spend Cloud.

If we refer to an instruction article, the URL will begin with https://support.spend.cloud/portal. We will never ask for your password, account details, or any other sensitive information. If you receive an email requesting such information, please contact your organization's administrator immediately.
