Understanding your Spend Cloud usage
Did you know that the pay-per-use price model means you only pay for the Spend Cloud capacity your organisation actually uses? You can view and adjust this usage quarterly, in the Spend Cloud. With the right permissions and the latest version of Spend Cloud, you can view the ‘My Subscription’ page via the drop-down menu below your name in the top right-hand corner. Depending on your Spend Cloud subscription, you can view the usage in invoices and/or transactions for the Purchase to Pay package or Expense.
Your organisation may not be using this yet. Please contact your account manager for any questions on this matter. Even if the ‘My subscription’ page is not available in your Spend Cloud, you can still adjust the balance of invoices and/or transactions in the Spend Cloud Portal.
If you don’t see the page in your Spend Cloud environment, both the instructions for the ‘My subscription’ page and the instructions for making changes to your subscription via the Pricing structure article can be found in the Spend Cloud Portal.

Grouping order lines
Order lines with the same coding used to be merged into a single invoice line when matching orders to invoices on an automatic match. If you wanted to undo this default setting, you had to click into the invoice, remove the match and manually match again. Impractical, especially when automation is supposed to save time.
As of Monday, you can indicate in the administration settings whether order lines with the same coding should or should not be merged. This way, automatic invoice processing can genuinely happen without any manual intervention.
New in the Spend Cloud App
App Version 1.69
Multiple attachments to entries
Following the positive feedback on ‘multiple attachments to entries’ as an experimental feature, this functionality is now available to everybody in the app. This means you can now attach several photos and files to a single entry in the app. These will then be bundled into a single PDF document.
It is not possible yet to add multiple attachments to a single entry in the web version of the Spend Cloud.
