ProActive as an independent unit within the Visma Group

In 2018, Visma, a business software provider, acquired the majority of shares in ProActive. Together with Visma's sister companies, ProActive can offer a comprehensive package for all business expenses and HR. ProActive is the company behind the Spend Cloud software. The collaboration with Visma allows ProActive to provide not only the Spend Cloud but also HR software, a financial package, an online interaction platform for accountants, and much more with seamless integrations.

What does this mean for ProActive and the Spend Cloud?

ProActive remains a separate entity within the Visma Group, as part of the Enterprise Division. The Spend Cloud also remains entirely under the management of ProActive. As a user, you may notice little to no difference due to the acquisition in 2018.

What does this mean for the Spend Cloud and integration with financial packages?

After the final approval of an invoice in the Spend Cloud, it is ready for payment in the financial package. For accurate processing, it's important that the data exchange between packages is seamless. Therefore, the Spend Cloud offers standard integrations with a wide range of financial packages. ProActive aims to keep the integration with all financial packages as optimal as possible, and Visma.net Financials is one of the integrated options.
