Purchase volume

Purchase volume

Warning
In order to use this analysis, you must set up product groups. Application managers can set this up via Application Management > Analysis > Product Groups

At ‘Purchase volume’, you can view analyses related to your total expenses. The purchase volume chart will be shown straight away. Using the selection criteria on the left of the screen, you can create an overview of your total expenditure per month or year. This can help you find trends. Expenses are divided into two categories: ‘Influenceable’ and ‘Not influenceable’. For a ledger, for instance, you can indicate whether the expenses in question can be influenced or not.

Clicking ‘Influenceable’ will show you a broken-down overview of your expenditure, highlighting the relationships between the product groups to which your expenses have been posted. Each chart can be downloaded in different file formats.

Under the graph, you can find the charts ‘Spend per organisational unit’ and ‘Spend per month’. You can open these charts by clicking the arrow icon on the right.

The ‘Spend per month’ chart shows you your organisation’s expenditure on a monthly basis. Hovering your mouse over the purple bar lets you read the exact amount.

Using the selection criteria on the left-hand side of the screen, you can generate specific different views.
