In essence, we send order requests from our domain (
noreply@spend.cloud) along with our IP address (35.204.242.219). There is an option to send order requests from the client's own domain (e.g.,
inkoop@klantnaam.nl), but our IP address is still used. Since the client's domain is not linked to our IP address, these emails may be flagged as spam by suppliers' mail servers, causing the emails to be blocked and not received by the supplier.
To prevent these emails from being classified as spam, there are two solutions:
- Send order requests from our domain (noreply@spend.cloud) to avoid spam classification. The drawback is that suppliers cannot reply to the order requests.
- Create an SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record for our IP address to authorize us to send emails from your domain.
For information on how to add an SPF record, refer to the article at the following link:
Additional sites are available that provide more explanations on SPF records and how to create them.
For more details on creating an SPF record, it is recommended to contact your own IT department or email server administrator, as they have the authorization to create an SPF record.
