Update the price of a contract
In the menu item "Price changes" you can see the contracts that are subject to price changes.
You can indicate whether a contract is subject to price changes when registering a contract.
For contracts where the price change is filled in, you can see in the overview, which change will be implemented on which date. You can filter in this view on the left side of the overview. By selecting "No" at the price indexation filter, you will see contracts that have price indexation disabled. This way you can still implement price changes for contracts that normally have this disabled.
You can only update prices from contracts with the status Active.
Update price
To change the price of a contract on a certain date, you can use the green button "Update price" above the overview or the pencil icon at the end of a contract line.
If you want to edit multiple contracts at the same time, the price for these contracts will be increased by the same percentage or amount. If you want to increase the prices of the contracts by different percentages/amounts, you will have to edit these contracts one by one.
- Select one or more contracts for which you want to change the price and click the green button "Update price". If you want to update the price of one contract, you can also click the pencil icon at the end of the line.
- In the screen that follows you can indicate the date on which the new price becomes active. Choose a date that is in the future.
- Then indicate the percentage or amount by which the price must be increased. (By amount we mean the amount which will be added to the already excisiting contract-price)
- Click "Next" to see an overview of the change you want to make.
- On this page you will see the selected date and the percentage you entered. Below you can see for which contract and / or which contracts and contract lines you are going to implement the change. If this is all correct, you can click on "Confirm". If you want to adjust something, click the back arrow ←.
After confirming the change, you will return to the price changes overview. The prices in the contract and (if relevant) the commitment lines are automatically increased on the date specified by you.
