Provide the accountant with an annual report

The accountant may request an annual report of your expenses. In this article, we explain how you can generate and submit it.

You can only generate an annual report or other desired data from the Spend Cloud. It is not possible to view or download transactions from the balance account in any other way. Since all data is available in real-time in the Spend Cloud, logging into another system is fortunately unnecessary.

Spend Cloud Cards Balance Account annual report

If you're using Spend Cloud Cards, you can generate all the necessary information from the Spend Cloud. To do this, navigate to Cash & Card / Archive.

Select a period and a balance account. Then, click "Export" in the top right corner and choose "Export PDF with balances." If this option is grayed out, you have not made the correct selection.



A report is now being generated that will be useful for your accountant. You can also make other selections and export them to a CSV or Excel file. These can also be provided to the accountant, but the PDF with balances is the most comprehensive.

A tip: you can also provide your accountant with an account in the Spend Cloud so they can view transactions themselves. Create a separate set of permissions and check the "Module Manager" option, granting access to all books and the archive.
