In the app, you can customize various settings according to your preferences. You can access these settings by tapping the icon with three dots and lines at the bottom right and then selecting "Settings".
Please note that certain settings may only be visible to you if you have access to specific modules, such as 'Expense Claims' or 'Procurement'. Not every organization uses every module, so you might come across settings in this article that you don't see in your app. If you have any doubts or questions about a particular setting, feel free to contact an application administrator within your organization.
General
Notifications
Here, you can configure which notifications you wish to receive from the app. These are not email notifications (which you can't modify as a user), but rather 'push notifications' from within the app. Push notifications will work only if
you've allowed our app to display these notifications in your phone's settings. If you've set up specific notifications for certain sections in the Spend Cloud app but aren't receiving them, check this
guide for iPhone/iPad users, or Android device settings might vary. If you're having trouble, contact your application administrator.
Preferences
Currently, the only preference here is the 'Sequential Approval' setting for items. This setting determines whether, after reviewing an invoice, order, expense claim, or a period in a book, you're automatically led to the next item for approval or back to the app's homepage.
Security
Change App Access Code
When you first log into the app, you're required to set an access code. This code grants you access to your account every time you open the app. If you want to change this access code, you can do so within this setting. If you can't log in because you've forgotten your access code, you'll need to remove your account from the app and go through the initial login process again. During that process, you can choose a new access code.

Knowledge Base
Tapping this setting will direct you to the Knowledge Base. It's the same Knowledge Base you're currently reading this article from; it contains all the information about the features and usage of Spend Cloud. We've made the Knowledge Base readable within the app on your phone or tablet, so you don't need to log in on a computer to access the information.
Release Notes
The Spend Cloud is regularly updated. Under this section, you'll find the latest improvements we've implemented in the app.
Feedback
Here, you can provide your feedback about our app. Choose an emoji at the top that best represents your opinion about the app, then type your justification for selecting that emoji in the field below. All feedback is welcome. When suggesting an improvement, try to describe your point as clearly as possible. This field isn't meant for questions about Spend Cloud's functionality; for that, please refer to your organization's application administrator.
Diagnostics
Similar to any app, there might be instances where the Spend Cloud app crashes. Often, the app suddenly closes. With the crash report setting, you give the app permission to send us information about the crash. This helps us enhance the app and minimize crashes.
Within this subject you can also test your push notifications. Follow the instructions on screen to set-up push notifications on your device, after this you can test the functionality with the button on screen.
Accounts
Manage Accounts
This setting allows you to delete your entire app account. Note that this doesn't actually remove your account from Spend Cloud (only the application administrator can do that), but it means you'll need to add your account again to the app if you want to use it. You can also delete accounts of other users.
Learn more about removing an account from the app here.
Testing
Join Test Panel
Through the app, you can sign up for the
Spend Cloud Test Panel. We'll invite you to participate in specific studies, such as how you use a feature and how we can make it better for you.
Experimental Features
Here, you can view and activate the latest features in the app. As long as the new features are listed under this section, we might ask for your feedback on using these new options.
Miscellaneous
Log Out / Switch Account
Click here to log out of the app or log in with a different account. Your account will still be visible in the app.
At the bottom of the settings, you'll also find the version number. Your organization's application administrator might ask for this number if you mention experiencing issues to them.
