Cash and bank links
This article applies if your organization does not have a link with the bank bunq or is you do not use Spend Cloud Cards.
It is possible to create links in Spend Cloud between bank books and cash books. By linking one or more cash books to a bank book, it is possible to easily register a cash withdrawal with the bank card of the bank account as cash income in the cash book. Such a link can be made in the Application management> Cash & Card> Links menu item.
Add bank account to be linked
Via Application Management / Cash & Card / Links you get to the overview with connections. The first step is to add a bank account via the add button.
Linking the Cash books
As soon as a bank account has been added, it is possible to link cash books to it. This can be done via the hyphen, which can be found on the right side of the bank account line.
When you click on this you can select a cash book to be linked, enter the card number and the corresponding cost center. If you then want to link multiple cash books, click on "Save and link cash journal".
Encode bank transactions
When a cash book is linked to a bank book, it is possible to indicate when encoding the bank transaction that it concerns a cash withdrawal. Then the correct cash book can be selected. If necessary, the encoding of these types of mutations can be fully automated by creating a filter for this.
