With a bunq debit Mastercard, you can make online payments at webshops that do not offer iDEAL, which is often the case with foreign webshops. The buyer selects the option to pay with a credit card in the webshop.

What if I don't want every card to make online payments?
Unfortunately, you cannot set online payments on or off per bunq card. This option is always enabled. If you want to prevent all card users from making online payments, you have three options.
Option 1: CVC Settings
In the Spend Cloud, you can set whether users can generate a CVC per rights set. This is a code that the bunq app generates as an additional form of verification.
Read more about CVCs in this portal article. During an online payment, a CVC is often requested, but unfortunately not always. Users can still make online payments with a physical card (with PIN and expiration date) if a CVC is not required. In short, it is not possible to make online payments impossible with bunq Mastercard debit cards.
Extra point of attention: You need to be either cardmanager in your role or set as liable card owner to generate a CVC code, in addition to above.
Option 2: iDeal Settings
In the Spend Cloud, you can set whether users are allowed to make iDeal payments per function profile. This means you can prevent users from making online payments via iDeal while keeping other options available. However, this does not make it impossible to make online payments with bunq Mastercard debit cards. Read more about iDeal payments in this

Option 3: Spend Cloud Cards
Spend Cloud Cards are a good alternative that allows you to selectively disable online payments. For each card statement in the Spend Cloud, you can set whether online payments are possible.
