Transfer money from the balance account to the linked bank account
It is possible in the Spend Cloud to transfer money from the balance account to the linked bank account. This can be useful, for example, if more money was deposited than needed, or if you want to close the balance account.
Note: This functionality is currently being rolled out. As soon as it becomes available for your Spend Cloud, administrators will receive an email and a notification in the Spend Cloud.
Money can be transfered via the menu: Application Management / Cash & Card / Balance Accounts.
Click on ‘Transfer’ next to the desired balance account.
Enter the desired amount under ‘Transfer amount’. If you click the Max. button, the full available balance will be automatically filled in. Check the amount and click ‘Transfer funds’. In the ‘Description’ field, you can optionally add a note about the transfer.
After the transfer, a confirmation will appear on screen.
Click Confirm to finalize the refund.
Required rights
The functionality to refund money from the balance account is enabled by default for application and module administrators. Don’t see this option? Then it still needs to be enabled in your rights set. Rights can be found via: Application Management / Organization / Rights. Click Edit Rights and then check under Application Management / Cash & Card / Balance Accounts / Transfer funds.
Viewing the Refund
Do you want to view the refund? Go to Cash & Card / Transactions and check the bank journal linked to the balance account.
