Rename the environment

It is possible to change the name of your environment and the associated URL (https://[environment-name].spend.cloud/) in Spend Cloud. This may be desirable if your organisation has undergone a name change, such as following a merger. To request a name change, please complete the form below.

Considerations

Changing an environment name may impact your operations.

• SSO: Since the environment name changes, it must also be updated in the SSO integration. This setup requires a URL modification. Users will need to log in to the app again, as the migration process clears the table that logs app connections, forcing all users to re-login.
• Import Scheduling: If you use import scheduling, step 3 in this SCP article needs to be revisited on the day of the name change.
• Postbox: A postbox redirection to the new postbox email address must be set up no later than 60 days after renaming the environment. The old postbox email address will expire after 60 days.
• Spend Cloud App: This change also affects logging into the Spend Cloud App. To prevent login issues, it is important to log in again to the Spend Cloud App.

The cost for this change is €625 excluding VAT.
