New: Ask DIRK: Get instant answers to your Spend Cloud questions
During the week of January 19–23, 2026, the button (top right) “DIRK has answers” will be replaced with “Ask DIRK” in the Spend Cloud. This button provides you with immediate access to all the help you need, including two new features: “DIRK Chat Help” and the “DIRK Success Center.”
DIRK Chat Help is a smart in-app AI assistant (chat functionality) that provides immediate support for questions about using the Spend Cloud. The AI assistant relies solely on our verified DIRK knowledge base, ensuring you receive accurate and up-to-date information. Whether you are an end-user or an application administrator, everyone can use DIRK Chat Help. If you get stuck, the AI assistant will guide you, potentially preventing the need to create a support ticket. After each response, you can provide feedback to help us continuously improve the knowledge base and chat functionality. Read more about this functionality in this DIRK article.
The DIRK Success Center is the central hub for important information: contact details of your Customer Success Manager & Account Manager, release notes, invitations to themed and release webinars and, in the future, data insights, tips and personalized recommendations to optimize your use of the Spend Cloud. Below is an example of the Success Center:
When you click “Ask DIRK,” you will now see three options:
- DIRK Knowledge Base: all up-to-date and verified articles about the Spend Cloud.
- DIRK Chat Help (new!): the in-app AI assistant that provides immediate answers to your questions, reducing the need to create support tickets.
- DIRK Success Center (new!): the central hub for key information and optimization tips.
Thanks to the DIRK features in the Spend Cloud, you can find what you need more quickly and easily, always available to support you whenever necessary.

Spend Cloud App
Change in PDF overview for Android users
Starting with app version 1.91.0, the PDF viewing functionality in the Spend Cloud App for Android users has been updated. Displaying and reviewing annotations in PDF files is no longer supported in this version. This update is necessary to remain compliant with Google Play Store requirements and to ensure the stability and reliability of the app. With this change, we ensure consistent and future-proof operation of the Spend Cloud App.
Cash & Card Module
Refunding Funds from the balance account
Starting this month, the functionality to refund funds from the balance account to the linked bank account will be rolled out gradually. In addition, the following related features are being added to provide more transparency and control over your cash flows:
- Verify transactions: view important details of refunds on the Transactions page.
- Audit Log: track all refunds and changes via the Audit Log page.
A few months ago, we already announced that this functionality would soon be available for users with the required permissions. More information can be found in this DIRK article.
Once the functionality becomes available for your environment, you will receive a separate email.
