Application Management

DIRK Chat Help: Have you asked DIRK yet? 

Two weeks ago, the new ‘Ask DIRK’ button went live in the Spend Cloud top menu (the blue bar), and it’s already available for full use! Clicking this button opens a menu with several options, including ‘DIRK Chat Help’. This is our smart in-app AI assistant that provides immediate support for your Spend Cloud questions. Whether you are an end user or an application manager, DIRK Chat Help helps you find the right answer quickly without needing to create a support ticket.

The AI assistant exclusively uses our verified knowledge base, ensuring you can rely on up-to-date and accurate information. Have you tried it yet? Let us know your thoughts via product@proactive.nl! Cash & Cards Module

Important: Assign a liable card owner for every card 

We encourage our customers to assign a liable card owner for every Spend Cloud Card and/or bunq card. For Spend Cloud Cards, this is already required to use all functionalities, such as linking the card to a device, confirming online payments, and activating Apple Pay or Google Pay. For bunq, this is not yet mandatory, but it is essential if you want to maintain control. It provides better oversight of expenditures and ensures you know exactly who is responsible for what. To help you with the setup, we will provide a suggested cardholder when only one employee is linked to a bunq card, ensuring the correct person is assigned immediately. Spend Cloud App

Update required for SSO re-login: QR code no longer supported 

When you log back into the app (for example, if your token has expired or your account was removed), you must re-link your account. Starting February 16, 2026, SSO (Single Sign-On) users will no longer be able to log in using a QR code. Logging in and linking will be handled exclusively via SSO. For users who are already logged into the app, nothing changes and no action is required. This only applies if you need to log in again or re-link your account.

Please note: To link your account, you must have the latest version of the Spend Cloud app. Without this update, you will receive an error message.

Invoice Processing Module

New improvement in the Invoice Processing Inbox

A new enhancement has been implemented in the Invoice Processing Inbox. When you click on an invoice and select the ‘Ask for opinion’ button, you can easily request feedback on a received message (see Image 1 below). After clicking this button (see Image 2), you first write a clarification or question. Then, you can specify who you want to forward the message to (see Image 3 for an email example). You can select one or more Spend Cloud employees or enter the sender's email address. This improvement makes it easier to quickly coordinate on invoices and contributes to a more efficient processing workflow.
