Cash & Card Module
Automated notifications for expiring cards
To help you stay ahead of expiring Spend Cloud Cards, we’re introducing automatic reminders—both in your dashboard and via email. Starting 60 days before a card’s expiry date, you’ll receive notifications in the Spend Cloud dashboard. These are grouped by expiry date and appear at the following times:
- 60 days before expiry
- 30 days before expiry
- On the expiry date itself
The notifications stay visible until the relevant card has been replaced or can no longer be replaced. Administrators will also receive an email notification at each of these moments, so you’re always informed in time and can replace cards seamlessly - without any interruptions.
We’re working on making this feature available for bunq cards as well.
Spend Cloud App
Push notification to set up Google Pay or Apple Pay
From now on, you’ll automatically receive a push notification right after completing the onboarding for your new Spend Cloud Card. This message lets you instantly set up Google Pay or Apple Pay on your smartphone. That way, you can pay even more easily and flexibly, fully mobile and without needing your physical card.
Invoice Processing Module
Smart Suggestions: faster, more accurate invoice handling with smart technology
Smart Suggestions helps you process invoices faster and more accurately. Using AI and historical invoice data, coding fields are automatically filled or intelligent suggestions are made. Each suggestion comes with a percentage that shows how often that field combination has been used successfully in the past six months.
If the confidence score is over 95%, the system fills in the fields for you. If it’s lower, you’ll see the top suggestions in a dropdown, complete with the percentage.
This saves time and reduces errors during invoice processing. Thanks to recent AI improvements, suggestions are now even smarter and more precise.
This feature is being rolled out in phases. Several customers are already using it, and full rollout is planned by the end of May. Once Smart Suggestions becomes available in your environment, you’ll receive a separate email and see a notification in Spend Cloud.
Coming soon
Add multiple and retroactive attachments to a booking
Soon, you’ll be able to add multiple attachments to a booking in the web version of Spend Cloud—even if the booking is in a closed period. This is only possible via the archive page and is handy when you want to add documents later to complete the booking.
Note: Attachments can only be deleted in open periods.
We’re currently running the final tests to ensure everything works smoothly for everyone. The rollout will be phased. You’ll receive a separate email once this feature is available in your environment. In the Spend Cloud App, you can already add multiple attachments. These are automatically merged into one file—seamlessly, with no extra effort needed on your end. We’re working on applying the new unified method to the app as well, so you'll soon enjoy the same smooth experience on both platforms.

Curious which Spend Cloud subscription you have and how much you're currently using? Here's how to check:
- Click your name in the top right corner of your Spend Cloud environment
- Select "My subscription"
